Bryston was acquired by Vice President James Tanner with Colquhoun Audio

James Tanner, vice president of Bryston, and Colquhoun Audio, a Canadian AV electronics development and manufacturing firm, announced the joint acquisition of the Bryston brand. Thus, James Tanner no longer holds the post of vice president, but is the head of Bryston.

Tanner, who joined Bryston back in 1976, plans to actively develop partnerships with dealers and create a special online platform where all official sellers can order Bryston products.

Also, Tanner and Colquhoun Audio are going to improve the work of the sales department, create a new hotline for users with the ability to consult in real time, and modernize the scientific and technical division. The new owners promised to maintain the traditional approach to creating products. Production will remain in Canada.

Former head of Bryston Chris Russell (Chris Russell) will stop working in the company as chief executive, but will continue to work with the firm as a consultant.
