Sonos will release full-size headphones

It has been rumored for a long time that Sonos is developing headphones. Now they have a rather eloquent confirmation: in the German patent office there was a filing from Sonos with a picture of full-size headphones.

Apparently, the model will receive oval cups with the company’s logo printed on the outside. The headband adjustment mechanism is hidden inside the headband itself.

In the image, you can see the dashed buttons, a USB-C port for charging, and a 3.5mm jack. Also included in the patent is a certain adapter, with which, apparently, it will be possible to replace the ear pads of the headphones.

Sonos CEO Patrick Spence has promised that the company will release at least two new devices a year. It is quite possible that headphones will become one of these devices, and the second – a compact portable speaker, which we talked about recently.
