The network has detailed information about the new TWS-headphones Sony WF-1000XM4, the presentation of which is expected in the near future. This data was confirmed in the official Sony video, which was briefly published on YouTube for unknown reasons. Despite the fact that the video was promptly removed, it was copied and posted in the Reddit community.
From the video, you can find out that the new model of TWS headphones has a higher sound quality and support the LDAC codec, making the headphones optimal for playing high-definition content. In addition, the gadget supports DSEE Extreme technology, which is designed to improve the sound of audio encoded with lossy compression. Also Sony WF-1000XM4 is equipped with active noise canceling system.
The video also revealed previously unknown features. For example, the video tells about the new proprietary Speak-to-Chat mode, in which audio playback is automatically turned off if the user starts a conversation with someone.
Also confirmed to be IPX4 waterproof and Qi wireless charging. The headphone battery will provide up to 8 hours of battery life with the noise canceling system on and up to 12 hours with it off. A back-up battery in the storage and carrying case extends autonomy up to 36 hours.
