The British company Roberts Radio, known for retro radios, has released a vinyl player dedicated to Amy Winehouse – RT200 X Amy Edition.
The novelty was presented at the exhibition “Amy: Beyond the Stage” in London’s Design Museum (Design Museum). Just 50 pink turntables, based on the original Roberts RT200 turntable, are meant to evoke Amy’s star-studded Grammy Awards on February 10, 2008.
The Roberts RT200 X Amy Edition turntable features engravings inspired by Amy’s own drawings and sketches. These are engravings with the singer’s signature and even heart-shaped scribbles, which fans will surely recognize as one of her many tattoos. Each Roberts RT200 X Amy Edition will receive its own serial number, making the collector’s item completely unique.
The new products are the result of a collaboration between Roberts Radio and the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Together, they have several more similar releases planned for 2022 in the upcoming Roberts X Amy collection.
The Roberts RT200 X Amy Edition turntable is available now from Roberts Radio site for £449.
