Jabra complements the 75t earphone models with custom controls and a hearing test

The Jabra Sound Plus software update should please owners of the Jabra Elite 75t and Elite Active 75t earphones. Now they will have the opportunity to independently assign the functions of buttons located on the headphone housings. Recall that to control the models 75t, you can use single, double or triple pressing. Now you can reassign almost all control commands.

Only the volume control remains unchanged – it is implemented with long presses. In addition, in the updated software you can find the MySound function, which allows you to adapt the sound of the earphones to the hearing characteristics of their owner. Jabra has long been specializing in legibility technology. The company noted that the MySound test used the experience of the GN Group’s parent structure in the development of hearing aids.

MySound plays a series of tones in each earphone, and the listener is asked to confirm their audibility by tapping the touchscreen of a smartphone. Upon completion of the process, its results will be applied automatically. However, you won’t be able to get your hearing parameters in this way – the test results are not displayed in the application. Sound Plus is already available for iOS. Soon it should appear on Android.
