Noise Machine: Pocket Wireless MIDI Controller for Playing Music on the Go

The Kickstarter crowdfunding platform has launched an unusual device for musicians, which is a pocket wireless MIDI controller. The device was named “Noise Machine”.

As conceived by the creators of Noise Machine, the device will be able to help out a musician in a situation when there is no full-fledged MIDI keyboard at hand. The Noise Machine allows you to record musical ideas on the go.

The compact MIDI controller has 12 main buttons. One for each note in chromatic order. There is also an octave switch and a knob for adjusting modulation effects (it is possible to program for other actions). The device is powered by a built-in battery, which can be recharged via USB-C.

With regard to connection to a computer, the Noise Machine can be used via Bluetooth with almost any PC, Mac and iOS / Android mobile gadget. Compatible with popular DAW software and visual synthesizers.

You can buy the Noise Machine through Kickstarter for $ 70 (as part of the Early Bird initiative). Deliveries will begin next summer. So far, only a third of the required amount has been collected, but the campaign will last another month.
