Audio Pro has released its smallest (275x275x290mm) SW-5 subwoofer. The model was called “base” – in the words of commercial director Jens Henriksen, it became the “little brother” of the SW-10, inheriting a lot from its design. At the same time, Jens promised that the SW-5 is capable of surpassing many of its larger counterparts.
The SW-5 is ready to work together with various models of the brand – for example, with the portable Audio Pro Addon T3+ system. In terms of characteristics and connectivity, the new product is quite universal and will fit into any suitable setup.
The subwoofer is assembled using an 8-inch long-throw driver complemented by a class D amplifier up to 150W with DSP. The input signal is received via an RCA cable, and a polarity switch and a crossover frequency setting from 50 to 130Hz are available from the control functions. The subwoofer itself covers the frequency range of 35-130Hz.
The Audio Pro SW-5 subwoofer is available in black and white and costs €300 in Europe.
