Creative Outlier Air Sports v2: touch control and 8-mic ANC system
Creative has already announced the second version of its TWS headphones called Outlier Air Sports v2. Their predecessor was the Outlier Air, which both the Outlier Air Sports v2 and their retractable case are very similar to.
According to representatives of Creative, the novelty has received dramatic improvements in the technologies used and functionality. Weighing just 6g per earbud and being IPX5 certified against sweat, dust and moisture, Outlier Air Sports v2 earbuds are good for use even during intense workouts.
The speaker membranes are still made of graphene, and Bluetooth version 5 with SBC, aptX and AAC codecs is used for wireless communication. To adjust the sound, the SXFI application with an equalizer and settings presets is provided.
The patented Super X-Fi Ready technology creates the surround sound of multi-channel speakers in your headphones. It works with music from the memory of the device on which the application is installed. The noise canceling system is based on Qualcomm cVc 8.0 technology and uses eight directional microphones.
The novelty was equipped with touch control, the call of the virtual assistant Siri or Google Assistant is provided. The headphones themselves are ready to work after charging up to 12 hours at medium volume. Two more almost full charges will be provided by the charging case.
A USB-C charging cable is included, as are the smaller silicone earbuds in three sizes. To this was added a special strap with a headphone pocket.
The Creative Outlier Air Sports V2 is slated to arrive in November and will retail for around $90.
