Technics EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40: JustMyVoice technology, acoustic chamber and IPX4 protection
Technics has introduced two models of wireless headphones – Technics EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40. Both models feature proprietary JustMyVoice phone connection enhancement technology which uses microphones (for example, EAH-AZ60 has eight microphones) and digital signal processing, reducing background noise and increasing speech intelligibility.
Technics EAH-AZ60 received 8mm speakers, and Technics EAH-AZ40 – 6mm speakers, complemented by an acoustic chamber. Wireless communication option – Bluetooth 5.2 with AAC codec (AZ60 also support high definition LDAC codec).
Among the advantages of Technics EAH-AZ60 is active noise cancellation, using both forward and feedback with “best-in-class” characteristics, according to Technics. The owner of the EAH-AZ60 will be able to keep abreast of the surrounding events in the Natural transparency mode. Added to it are the Attention Mode, which emphasizes the frequencies of the human voice, and technologies that reduce wind noise.
Technics EAH-AZ40 will work 7.5 hours on its own and 25 with the charging case. The AZ60 has lower figures – 4.5 and 16 hours, respectively – but with LDAC enabled. With the AAC codec and ANC enabled, battery life is increased to 7 and 24 hours. Another 1.5 hours of work for both earbuds will add 15 minutes of fast charging. Both models are IPX4 splash resistant.
The new products will go on sale next month. In the U.S., the recommended retail price of Technics EAH-AZ60 headphones was $200, and Technics EAH-AZ40 – $130.
