FiiO has officially announced the release of a new version of the M11 Plus portable player with a new processor, screen and operating system.
Instead of the Exynos 7872 processor used in the M11 Pro, the new generation has received an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chip, thanks to which the player now runs on Android 10. The RAM is expanded to 4 GB, the amount of internal storage remains unchanged – 64 GB.
The player has a 5.5-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The DAC block and amplifying part remain the same as in the previous model. The AK4497EQ chip is responsible for the digital-to-analog conversion, the THX AA-78 module is responsible for the amplification. There are three jacks for connecting headphones – 3.5 mm, 2.5 mm and 4.4 mm.
The FiiO M11 Plus is a limited edition in two colors. The aluminum version will be produced in 6,000 copies for $749.99, while the stainless steel version will sell for $899.99. Only 1000 copies will be released.
