Samsung Soundbars 2021: Q Calibration/Space Fit and Q-Symphony Integration
Samsung’s soundbar line will be led by the HW-Q950A model this year. In fact, this is a full-fledged home theater kit in the 11.1.4 configuration, and not only the subwoofer, but also the rear satellites are made wireless in the kit.
New products from among the soundbars have also acquired Samsung’s proprietary technologies. This is the Q Calibration/Space Fit room calibration and Q-Symphony function, which combines the soundbar and speakers of a compatible Samsung TV into a single audio system.
Three older models-the Samsung HW-Q950A, as well as the 3.1.2-channel Samsung HW-Q800A and Samsung HW-Q70A — support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. It is also known that the two older soundbars will receive the functionality of Apple AirPlay 2, the voice assistant Alexa, the function of the improved return audio channel eARC and the Bluetooth module.
The Samsung HW-Q800A model will boast an 8-inch subwoofer, while the Samsung HW-Q70A model and the youngest 4.1-channel Samsung HW-Q60A soundbar will have a 6.5-inch speaker.
Detailed information about the prices of new products and the timing of their appearance on the market will appear later.
