US firm Orchard Audio has announced the Roon certification of its PecanPi DAC. We have already talked about this device with a rather interesting concept. It is now Roon Tested certified. Obviously, this will serve to increase the popularity of the product, which is a bundle of DAC – headphone amplifier – Raspberry Pi microcomputer.
Together they make it possible to realize a networked audio player. The system is based on a DAC that is also used in the proprietary PecanPi Streamer, which is also provided with the functionality of the Roon endpoint.
