Anthem MRX 540, 740 and 1140 are the latest AV receivers from Canada

Anthem has announced the launch of a new line of home theater electronic components. The Anthem MRX series of receivers includes models with indexes 540, 740 and 1140.

The novelties feature the latest version of the ARC Genesis automatic calibration system, as well as a new network control interface. The updated software includes the ability to configure all parameters over the network and receive updates over the Internet over a wireless channel.

All models are equipped with HDMI eARC 2.0b inputs with a future upgrade to HDMI 2.1 (8K) specifications. Agnostic’s streaming platform provides support for AirPlay2 and Google Chromecast (Audio), and Spotify Connect and Roon support will be coming to receivers shortly. Outwardly, the devices practically do not differ from each other.
