Hybrid designs are often used in in-ear headphones, and Ausounds introduced its own version: the wireless Au-Flex ANC model uses both magneto-planar and dynamic emitters.
The 8mm diaphragm planar delivers mids and highs, while the phase-matched 10mm driver delivers rich and accurate bass. The planar radiator has dual coils and a robust metal housing. According to the developers, due to the hybrid design, the headphones provide “sound like a wired one and a stage like a full-size one at a cost of $1,000”.
You will be able to appreciate all the beauty of the hybrid scheme due to the support of modern Bluetooth codecs up to LDAC. Headphone format – in-ear with earhooks and neckband. All controls are located just on the rim. The earbuds are IPX5 waterproof and sweat resistant.
The model is also equipped with a noise cancellation function, and Ausounds said that in modes with noise cancellation on and off, the frequency response of the headphones practically does not change. The built-in battery will last for 10 hours of operation with the noise control on and 15 hours with it off.
In the US, Ausounds Au-Flex will cost $200.
