Belkin Soundform Freedom: ENC noise reduction and Apple device search support
True wireless headphones Belkin Soundform Freedom are designated AUC002. The company announced them at the very beginning of the year. The model will join the Soundform family, which, for example, already includes the Elite smart speaker.
The novelty is equipped with an advanced noise reduction system (Environmental Noise Cancelation – ENC). Soundform Freedom Charging Case iOS owners will be able to track using the Apple Find My app, the first third-party headphones to support this feature.
Proprietary speakers with double-layer membranes are responsible for the sound quality in the headphones, which are promised powerful bass. The Qualcomm aptX codec will provide 24-bit audio transmission over Bluetooth. Clear-Call technology is designed to monitor the comfort of your phone call, and smart sensors pause sound while the headphones are away from your ears. The headphone cases are protected from moisture and dust according to the IPX5 standard.
Batteries (with a capacity of 60 mAh in each earbud and another 520 mAh in the charging case) will provide up to 8 hours of playback, plus another 28 hours from recharging in the case. At the same time, Soundform Freedom is compatible with Qi wireless charging, and in addition to three pairs of silicone eartips (S / M / L), a USB-A to USB-C cable is added. Despite the promised release date in late spring, the new product in white and black will appear only in June. But you can pre-order now.
In the US, the Belkin Soundform Freedom headphones will cost $100.
