Creative BT-W4 Transmitter: Bluetooth 5.2 with Qualcomm aptX Adaptive

Creative Technology called the BT-W4 the Bluetooth 5.2 – Smart Audio Transmitter. The novelty operates at a distance of up to 50m (guaranteed in the line of sight and in the absence of interference) and is equipped with Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive codec.

The Creative BT-W4 Bluetooth Adapter is compatible with PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5. The novelty is connected and powered via USB-C. However, there is a USB-C to USB-A adapter included, so there really is no problem with versatility. The device supports the plug and play function – you do not need to install drivers.

The Creative promises minimal power consumption and intelligent self-tuning for the optimal bitrate with the highest possible quality. About the codec used BT-W4 will inform you with the color of the signal LED.

For example, aptX Adaptive is displayed in purple. Green indicates the basic aptX codec, which gives good quality.
