Dirac adds immersive audio support to all Asus ROG Phone 3 compatible headsets
In collaboration with Asus’ ROG sub-brand, Dirac has updated all headsets that are compatible with the Asus ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphone to support Dirac’s surround sound emulation.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 smartphone is the most powerful smartphone on the market at the moment, it is aimed at those who actively play mobile games. The Dirac collaboration started with an onboard audio system: the patented surround sound emulation algorithm was first applied to it and is now available on all supported headsets.
According to the company, the algorithm not only provides an immersive sound, but through a special correction of impulse and volume makes the sound more neutral and balanced, accurately placing sources in the virtual space and increasing the detail, allowing you to hear the slightest rustle or whisper. Also, the increased clarity of the sound has a positive effect on speech and dialogue, which is good in multiplayer games. And deep and clear bass makes music more fun.
“Sound plays a huge role in the gaming experience, both by adding realism and immersiveness to the player’s performance,” said Bryan Chang, head of Asus’ Smartphone Business. “Dirac has been an important partner with whom we have been able to create a headset that will wow the ROG gaming community.”
Asus’ Dirac-optimized headsets include ROG Cetra, ROG Cetra Core, ROG Cetra RGB, ROG Delta, ROG Delta Core, ROG Delta White Edition, ROG Strix Go 2.4, ROG Strix Fusion 300, ROG Strix Fusion 300 PNK LTD, ROG Theta Electret and ROG Theta 7.1.
