KEF LS50 Wireless II learned to play Hi-Res-music from Amazon Music HD

KEF has once again updated the LS50 Wireless II active speakers. This versatile model has now learned to seamlessly play Hi-Res music from Amazon Music HD streaming service.

We are talking about tracks in quality up to 24-bit/192 kHz (Amazon called this format “Ultra HD”). Of course, standard “HD quality” is also supported. Today the service has about 70 million such tracks (16 bit/44.1 kHz). As with Tidal Connect, the user can use a smartphone as a remote control.

Recall that the KFE LS50 Wireless II speakers are equipped with 12th generation Uni-Q drivers and feature a distortion reduction technology based on the MAT (Metamaterial Absorption Technology) sound-absorbing material.

The LS50 Wireless II can connect to a variety of analog and digital sources and also has HDMI. A lot of emphasis is placed on wireless switching, there is a Roon certification.
