Lampizator added the MM2 phono stage to the catalog

Lampizator has released the MM2 phono stage, based on the already existing MC1 model. The entire analog signal section was completely copied from MC1. The changes affected the power supply: now it is based on solid-state elements, and not on lamps. Accordingly, the MM2 turned out to be cheaper, more compact and lighter. Among the main features of the new phono stage, the manufacturer highlighted compatibility with MM cartridges, the possibility of using a step-up transformer for MC heads, high sensitivity when using cartridges with a low output signal, as well as high-quality components: copper capacitors, four-layer fully shielded printed circuit board, selectable EEC803 and 6N2P lamps. The input impedance of the device is 47 kOhm.

The developers claim that the MM2 model was successful: rich “surround” sound, complete absence of noise and dynamic delivery. In Europe, the cost of the MM2 phono stage was 3,900 euro.
