Oppo Enco Free2: sound from Dynaudio and -42 dB of noise
Oppo Enco Free2 truly wireless headphones are designed to be a budget alternative to Apple AirPods Pro – this is clearly hinted at by the design of the new item. Confidence in sound quality is given by the information that the true high-end brand Dynaudio took part in the development of the Enco Free2. Moreover, this cooperation has already been tested, for example, on the Oppo Enco X.
Enco Free2 will be able to use the analysis of users’ hearing profiles to customize the sound. Equalization in the HeyMelody control app works for Android or iOS.
The digital signal is transmitted via Bluetooth 5.2, and for active noise cancellation and telephony, Enco Free2 uses three microphones. ANC function (promised noise reduction by 42 dB) is complemented by a transparency mode. Touch sensors are used for control.
It takes 1.5 hours to fully charge the novelty via USB-C. The charging case will provide the headphones with 30 hours of battery life, on their own (without ANC) they will last about 6.5 hours, and with ANC – about a quarter less. The case of the novelty in terms of dust and water resistance is certified according to the IP54 standard and so far can have two color options: black and white.
In the UK, the Oppo Enco Free2 headphones are already available for £90.
