Polk Magnifi Mini AX: Dolby Atmos and Apple AirPlay 2 in a tiny package

The Polk Magnifi Mini AX soundbar is the next iteration of the American company’s tiny but loud soundbars. Electronics and 5 speakers are housed in a case with a width of only 37cm – in terms of dimensions, the soundbar is more like a large Bluetooth speaker. It supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, and communicates with other systems using Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2.

Polk SDA 3D Audio Technology

A wider sound stage and virtual ceiling channels will be provided by Polk’s fourth generation SDA 3D audio technology. For comfortable speech perception, the patented Polk VoiceAdjust was used.

Polk SR2 wireless surround speakers

The Polk Magnifi Mini AX soundbar comes with a wireless subwoofer, and the Polk SR2 wireless surround speakers (sold separately) allow you to expand the system to a 5.1 configuration. In addition, the novelty is compatible with Spotify and is equipped with a Bluetooth module, and also has the status of Roku TV Ready. The Polk Magnifi Mini AX can be controlled and configured using a tablet or computer with the app installed. The sound of the system can be adjusted in music, movie, 3D and night modes.

It connects to your TV via HDMI, with eARC support and an HDMI cable included. In addition, there is an optical digital and even an analogue 3.5mm input. The USB-A port is only needed for firmware updates. An OLED display makes it easy to understand the settings and extinguishes when not needed.

In the USA, the Polk Magnifi Mini AX soundbar already available for order and costs $499, the Polk SR2 wireless surround speakers costs $199.
