Sennheiser presented CX 400BT True Wireless headphones
The CX 400BT True Wireless headphones are built with Sennheiser’s audio technology. They are equipped with custom 7mm drivers – the same as in the flagship Momentum True Wireless 2. In addition, the CX 400BT TWS headphones are equipped with support for the necessary audio codecs, which include SBC, AAC and aptX.
Built-in rechargeable batteries provide the headphones with about 20 hours of battery life. The headphones are ready to work for 7 hours without recharging on their own. Another 13 hours with two charging cycles in the compact charging case. At the same time, the case weighs 37 g, and each earbud is only 6 g. According to Sennheiser, the ergonomic design of the earbuds will ensure they are comfortable to wear all day long.
The outer surface of the earbuds houses customizable touch controls for music, voice assistants and calls. Like the built-in equalizer, they can be personalized (remapped) via the free Smart Control app, where you can also select the level of transparency of the sound, setting the ratio of the ambient noise heard to the music played through the headphones. The Sennheiser Smart Control App is compatible with most iOS and Android systems and is available in eight languages, including German, English, French, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Japanese and Mandarin.
Available in black and white, the CX 400BT True Wireless headphones come with a set of silicone ear tips (XS, S, M, L) and a USB-C cable. The Sennheiser CX 400BT True Wireless headphones will hit the US market in mid-September for $200.
