Sonarworks SoundID Reference Acoustic and Headphone Calibration Software Learned to Work in Real Time

The Latvian company Sonarworks has presented an updated software for the calibration of acoustics and headphones SoundID Reference. The updated product is traditionally easy to use, although it is supplemented with features like Custom Target and Translation Check. The set includes optimized drivers for working under Windows, the interface is also improved.

SoundID Reference inherits the functions of the well-known Sonarworks Reference product. The new product retains SoundID frequency response correction functions and adds calibration capabilities. One of the main advantages is the ability to adjust the frequency response in real time.

Also in the SoundID Reference there is an opportunity to select the range to which the calibration will be applied (Custom Target). At the service of users – a library of 20 pre-installed imitations of listening environments.

For Windows, the SoundID Reference provides two options for virtual connections, including without using a virtual device driver, with almost zero latency.
