Spotify will add favorites filters by genre and mood

In the Spotify interface, it will be possible to sort the music in the playlist of the tracks you like. This will really make listening more harmonious – it will be possible to sort by genre and mood. To get started, your playlist must have at least 30 tracks.

If this condition is met, then in the section “Library” (Your Library) after selecting your favorite songs (Liked Songs) under the button “Add Songs” (Add Songs), you will see additional buttons that reflect the mood and genre. Naturally, the number of buttons can change – for example, depending on the genre diversity of the library of a particular listener.

According to Spotify, genre and sentiment filters will be available to subscribers in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia “in the coming weeks”.
