StormAudio ISP Core 16 AV processor: 16 channels and support for all current immersive formats

StormAudio ISP Core 16 Immersive AV (Preamp) Processors is based on the ISP MK2. The new model received a more compact case and partially simplified functionality. However, the processor is designed for 16 channels and is capable of decoding all current immersive formats, including Auro-3D, Dolby Atmos, DTS: X Pro, IMAX Enhanced, HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision. Also on board is sound correction from Dirac.

One of the significant innovations is the color display on the front panel, which displays all the basic information about the signals. The rear panel contains HDMI inputs/outputs, analog RCA inputs, a set of digital inputs, XLR outputs, as well as a block of connectors for integrating the device into a system. The ISP Core 16 can be controlled via an IR remote control, an automation system or using an iOS and Android application.

In addition to the new 16-channel ISP Core 16 processor, StormAudio has released the AoIP AES67 module for ISP MK1/MK2. This add-on unit will add Audio over IP compatibility to the processor. The module is designed for 32-channel installations, there is support for Ravenna and Dante AES67 modes.

The ISP Core 16 AV processor will hit the European market this fall for €10,000. The AoIP AES67 module is already available for ordering through StormAudio partners, but its price has not been disclosed.
