X-quisite Fire MC cartridge: titanium body and Neodym-Armco magnet
The Swiss company X-quisite has introduced another cartridge for turntables. The novelty was named Fire: its outer titanium case was decorated with a high-temperature coating with a unique “fire” pattern for each sample.
Inside – the patented X-quisite monoblock ceramic transducer in a multilayer block made of aluminum and wood. The needle has been cut Micro ridge. The frequency range worked out by the novelty: 20-30,000 Hz.
Each X-quisite Fire cartridge is handcrafted and personally calibrated by Micha Huber, head of the brand. Huber was educated as a mechanical engineer (at first he developed designs for Swiss watches) and a professional musician.
The cost of the X-quisite Fire cartridge is 9,900 Swiss francs (about $ 10,000).
