Accuphase C-3900 – anniversary preamp

Accuphase has released another model for its 50th anniversary, the C-3900 preamplifier, which has taken the top position in the firm’s preamplifier hierarchy. In Japan, the novelty will go on sale in mid-July at a recommended retail price of 1.9 million yen, which is approximately 17500$.

Accuphase C-3900 preamp designed in the true dual mono concept with separate power toroidal transformers. The highlight of the new product is the branded volume control Dual Balanced AAVA, which is characterized by a record low level of its own noise.

In addition, Accuphase C-3900 uses the Accuphase Noise and Distortion Canceling Circuit, which helps reduce distortion and improve the signal-to-noise ratio. The component is equipped with a fully discrete headphone amplifier.

The anniversary preamplifier features extensive analog switching. There are seven unbalanced and four balanced inputs, an unbalanced and balanced inputs of the through channel for integrating the component into home theater systems, two unbalanced and two balanced adjustable outputs and a linear output for recording.
