Aipower Wearbuds: a symbiosis of Bluetooth headphones with a fitness watch
On Indiegogo, Myaipower launched the Wearbuds project – these are wireless headphones with a smartwatch as a charging case. The kit is handled by a subsidiary brand of the company – Aipower. According to him, this is the first example of such a symbiosis.
Wearbuds Bluetooth headphones (version 5.0 supported) feature graphene speaker diaphragms and charge right in the smartwatch. Inside, the headphones are fixed with magnets.
In addition, the kit has received functions for monitoring fitness and health status – it tracks the percentage of oxygen in the blood, blood pressure, heart rate, skin temperature, number of steps taken and sleep time. Then all this information is analyzed in a special application that is compatible with both Android and iOS.
Like other smartwatches, once connected to a smartphone, Wearbuds is ready to handle phone calls, messages and notifications from Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc. The IPX6 waterproof headphones are ready to work with any compatible Bluetooth device and also support the aptX codec. By themselves, they will last 2.5 hours – not bad for a model that fits into a 15 mm thick watch. The battery life of smart watches is up to 10 days.
Almost a month and a half before the end of fundraising on Indiegogo, the Wearbuds project has already more than tripled the initially announced $ 30,000 required for implementation. Delivery of finished products is scheduled for October.
The cost of one Wearbuds set for Indiegogo investors from the US will be $130.
