Elrog has expanded the model range with the ER5U4G rectifier Tube

The ER5U4G rectifier Tube became the third Tube of this type in the catalog of the German Elrog. The ER5U4G model received a bright glowing direct-filament cathode made of thoriated tungsten. The filament is clearly visible — it is located between the two elements of the anode.

The new ER5U4G is fully compatible with circuits using 5U4 type lamps. According to the manufacturers, the new rectifier tube is suitable for any device designed for 5U4, 5U4GB and 5U4WG tubes.

The cost of the ER5U4G tube has not yet been reported.
