Astell & Kern Announces A&Norma SR25 Player In Limited Black Colors
The A & norma SR25 player from Astell & Kern appeared on the market in late spring and interested lovers of relatively compact portable sources: the new product received the longest-lasting battery among Astell & Kern players (more than 20 hours on a single charge), and also became the first brand player to support Bluetooth -LDAC codec. Now the company has offered the A & norma SR25 in a new color called Black Onyx.
Whereas in the classic version the metal elements were silver, in the limited edition they are matte black. At the same time, the ornament on the rear panel has not changed.
In terms of characteristics, the black player also does not differ from the silver one: it still has the same dual mono architecture based on Cirrus Logic 43198 chips, support for DSD256 (native) and 32-bit / 384 kHz PCM, faster than SR15 processor, 3, 6-inch touch screen, balanced (2.5 mm) and unbalanced outputs, Wi-Fi, USB-DAC functionality, 64 GB of internal memory and support for cards up to 1 TB.
In the US market, the Black Onyx version will cost the same $699 as the silver model. Now the player can be pre-ordered, deliveries are expected in the first half of November. The number of A & norma SR25s produced in this finish is limited.
