Beatport DJ: Virtual Browser Station for DJ Sets

Virtual DJ station Beatport DJ for the browser is a new service with a large music library (using the resources of the online music platform Beatport) and various DJ instruments.

As the developers explained, the user will be able to take tracks and playlists not only from his Beatport profile, but also from other people’s open profiles. In addition, the new service will offer the user branded collections such as Beatport Top 10, DJ Charts, Beatport Playlists and Top 10 Genres.

As for the DJ functionality, Beatport DJ has provided all the most necessary options. For example, there is automatic synchronization of tracks, a slider for adjusting the tempo, an equalizer, a frequency filter and a set of effects (reverb, echo, slicer, etc.). There is also a looper. Each module is presented as a separate block with its own interface and visualization.

It’s worth noting that Beatport DJ is compatible with controllers including Hercules DJ, Pioneer DJ, Denon DJ, and Serato. You can connect via USB or Bluetooth.

For those who have just embarked on the DJ path, a built-in training course was offered.

The renowned Dutch DJ Tiësto, who has already tried out the Beatport DJ browser station, called it “an incredible innovative product for any DJ level”.

All Beatport Link, Link Pro and Link Pro+ subscribers have already automatically gained access to the new service. Newbies are offered a free trial period of 30 days (promotional offer is limited). After the end of the free month, you will have to pay from $15 per month for access to Beatport DJ and Beatport Cloud (music library).
