Chord Electronics has released a leather case for the combined Hugo 2/2go model
The Hugo 2 DAC from Chord Electronics, combined with the 2go headphone amplifier-streamer, can now be supplemented with a branded leather case. These models in the docked state form, in fact, a single independent multifunctional device.
According to the company, the case was developed by the founder, owner and chief designer of Chord Electronics John Franks (John Franks). This product is made of black genuine leather with red stitching. It is available in two versions: with a shoulder strap for carrying and without it (respectively, in the second case, there are no belt fasteners).
New products do not limit the functionality of the devices in any way: switching, display and controls are open, access to the micro-USB charging port and memory card slots is left. The kit includes a leather keyring and a plastic dust cover to protect the 2go Ethernet port from dust.
The Hugo 2/2go leather case will cost £100 in the UK. With a carrying strap, it will cost 10 pounds more.
