The Metaxas&Sins T-RX reel-to-reel tape recorder received an optional HOTA D6 battery

The Metaxas&Sins T-RX reel-to-reel tape recorder (we already talked about this device earlier) is positioned by the manufacturer as portable. And with the newly created battery of autonomous power for him, he will fully justify this title.

According to the author of the design, Kostas Metaxas (Kostas Metaxas), despite the reduced size, this tape recorder showed how the technology of precise processing of materials has gone forward since the heyday of the bobbin-the middle of the last century.

Now the tape recorder can be considered truly portable. The HOTA D6 lithium-ion battery (12 cells 3.6 V/5,200 mAh) created by the company will allow the 4-motor device to work for almost 9 hours. Charging is twice as fast.

The cost and timing of the HOTA D6 on sale have not yet been announced.
