StormAudio ISP MK2 AV processors get DTS:X Pro support and Expert Bass Management functionality with software update

The French company StormAudio has released the next update package 4.1 for the firmware of its AV processors on the ISP MK2 platform. The previous update to version 4.0 was released last spring.

This time, StormAudio AV processors will get the DTS:X Pro decoding feature with support for up to 24 discrete channels, including multiple side surround channels. At the same time, DTS: X Pro provides full backward compatibility with DTS:X.

Added in the previous firmware, the Dirac Live Bass Control function in the new version is supplemented with the Expert Bass Management mode for redefining bass sources.

This will allow you to create up to six routes for distributing the bass signal to subwoofers and low-frequency systems, and the LFE signal can be redefined separately.

Firmware for StormAudio ISP MK2 and MK1 AV processors version 4.1 is already available for download.
