Dynavoice has released a compact integrated amplifier Challenger CA802BT

A small but functional Challenger CA802BT amplifier has appeared in the Dynavoice catalog. As the name suggests, the model is equipped with a Bluetooth module: it works on the 5.0 protocol and supports the aptX codec.

The amplifier operates in Class D and is built on the basis of modules from the German company Infineon Technologies. It produces 80 watts of power per channel at a load of 4 ohms and 40 watts, respectively, at a load of 8 ohms. As stated, in addition to the gain modules, all the components of the device are carefully selected by hand.

The 24-bit ESS ES9023 DAC chip is responsible for processing the incoming digital signal. The inputs include RCA, coax (combined with the right channel of the analog input), optics, and USB-C, which supports 32-bit/384 kHz content transmission. There is also a subwoofer output and speaker connection terminals at the rear.

The front panel has a headphone jack-it is located between the small display and the volume control wheel. The power of the headphone amplifier was 100 MW at 32 ohms.

With dimensions of 151x170x38 mm, the amplifier weighs 520 g.
