Dirac Live sound correction appeared in Onkyo, Pioneer and Integra AV receivers

Dirac has announced a partnership with Onkyo, Pioneer, Pioneer Elite and Integra. The new AV receiver models from these brands have received support for Dirac Live technology for sound correction to the room.

According to Dirac representatives, the cooperation with Onkyo and Pioneer will bring the proprietary sound tuning system to a new level: the technology will become more accessible both in terms of cost and in terms of prevalence.

Dirac noted that in the near future audio and video lovers will not have to necessarily buy expensive equipment for the sake of proper sound. Erik Rudolphi, vice president of Dirac’s home and professional equipment division, stated that “rum-correction software like Dirac Live has more impact on overall sound quality than any Hi-Res format.

If Dirac is to be believed, receivers with its proprietary technology will give users “balanced, clean, pronounced sound with a precise stage”. And it won’t require acoustic room preparation or premium speakers, according to the company.

Dirac Live is already in Onkyo TX-NR7100, TZ-RZ50, Pioneer Elite VSX-LX305/VSX-LX505 and Integra DRX-5.4/DRX-3.4 receivers, some of which are already out.
