The Penaudio Cinema series of cinema acoustics includes 12 models with proprietary audiophile technologies
Penaudio’s Cinema series of installation acoustics is represented by 12 models for wall / screen mounting. The line includes speakers for both small rooms and spacious home cinemas. All models are made according to the company’s proprietary technologies and meet modern standards.
The compact speakers 6CF and 6C7 (version with angled emitter for precise directional sound flow) are equipped with coaxial drivers and can be used as universal surround speakers for multichannel setups. Model 6C7 is suitable for high altitude canals.
Speaker systems 6.1H and 6.2H (two midrange speakers) are designed to be installed behind the projection surface. These speakers can also be used as surround speakers. According to the company, 6.1H or 6.2H with 6CF / 6C7 would be a good solution for a small DK.
Models 8.1H and 8.2H (two midrange speakers) are positioned as more advanced versions of 6.1H and 6.2H. These speakers feature older drivers, including a 25mm CTA tweeter with a special elliptical waveguide. Penaudio offered 8.1H and 8.2H as the main or surround speakers for mid-sized cinemas.
The 8.2HS and 15.1HS systems are powerful speakers for large rooms. The manufacturer stated that these models are suitable for reference-level cinemas.
The 8.2HS features two 200mm midrange drivers with large voice coils and one tweeter in a pivot system for horizontal or vertical placement.
The 15.1HS features a three-way configuration: 380mm woofer, 200mm midrange driver and tweeter in a horn. According to the company, the speaker uses audiophile grade components. Cabinet volume – 55 liters. Weight – 40.5 kg.
12.1P and 12.2P passive subwoofers (two radiators) are equipped with 12-inch speakers and can be used in small and medium-sized cinema halls. Both models are suitable for projects where multiple subwoofers are required.
Finally, the 15.1P and 15.2P are oversized subwoofer systems with ports for increased performance. Both versions are equipped with 380 mm long-stroke emitters (there are two of them in 15.2P). The manufacturer drew attention to the shallow depth of the models.
The Cinema Series are said to feature sturdy mounts, sturdy enclosures, dedicated mounting terminals (direct access through the front panel), cable ducts, and gold-plated professional speaker terminals.
