Loewe and Sharp products will receive support for the DTS Play-Fi protocol

We recently wrote that Hisense products will support DTS Play-Fi technology. However, Sharp and Loewe were also among the partners of DTS the other day.

It is already known that Loewe will introduce the first DTS Play-Fi wireless audio products in the first half of this year. No details yet, but Loewe said their company will use Play-Fi to create “surround sound”. What exactly is being discussed is unclear.

As for Sharp, there have been no official announcements yet – the company just appeared in the list of partners on the DTS website. Recall that the first company to use the DTS Play-Fi protocol in TVs was Philips.

DTS Play-Fi technology is capable of providing a fully wireless home network for 24-bit / 192 kHz audio transmission. Play-Fi can be used to build a multi-room or surround sound system.
