Eddie van Halen’s last two-hour concert with sound recorded from a mixing console was uploaded to YouTube

A recording of the concert of Eddie Van Halen and his band, made in 2015 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, appeared on the YouTube service. At this last concert of this format in his life, Eddie played 21 compositions.

The recording was shared by user Greg L. The survey was conducted from different points. More precisely, the enthusiast stitched together several videos and synchronized all this with the audio track. Audio was recorded from the position of the sound engineer at the console, who controlled the sound during the concert. The result was a two-hour performance with “clean” sound without public noise.

The 2015 Hollywood Bowl concert is part of that year’s summer tour with singer David Lee Roth.

Eddie Van Halen died on October 6 at the age of 65 after a long battle with cancer.
