Pioneer DJ has unveiled the HDJ-CX professional on-ear DJ headphones. The color of the novelty is black.
These headphones can be very durable. The manufacturer emphasized that in addition to “the rigorous testing required for Pioneer’s professional DJ headphones“, the HDJ-CX has passed the US military standard MIL-STD-810H drop test.
At the same time, Pioneer DJ HDJ-CX without a cable weigh only 136g, which is great for long sessions. In such medium-sized headphones, it was possible to place 35mm drivers with membranes made of a new composite material PEEK-PU-PEEK. With them, the headphones work out the range from 5 Hz to 30 kHz and withstand power up to 2,000 mW per earpiece. With a sensitivity of 103 dB, it should turn out loud.
The cups are equipped with bass-reflex chambers – this evens out the low-frequency response, and sound insulation has been added to reduce external noise. Headphones are equipped with a pair of cables with a 3.5 mm jack, twisted and regular. It also comes with a pair of replacement ear pads.
In the US, the Pioneer DJ HDJ-CX headphones are priced at $149.
