The iBasso brand has announced the release of the updated 2020 DX160 player. Updates affected software and hardware of the model.
The dimensions and characteristics of the 5-inch Full HD display remained the same, but now the player has a screen from JDI (Japan Display Inc.), while previously used Sharp products. The headphone output with a 3.5 mm mini-jack now meets the CTIA standard, which means support for cables with built-in microphones. iBasso DX160 2020 is one of the first digital players on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Cirrus Logic dual CS43198 chip is responsible for signal conversion, the built-in eight-core processor supports the MQA codec. The body of the device is made of aluminum, four different colors are available, however, color versions will appear only in the second decade of April 2020. The price of iBasso DX160 2020 will be 400$.
