Jabra has introduced the Elite 85t wireless headphones with Advanced ANC. As stated in the press release, this technology is an advanced six-microphone solution that surpasses the capabilities of standard Jabra systems. In addition to noise cancellation, the built-in chipset is designed to process sound for better material presentation.
There is also a HearThrough mode, which allows you to hear what is happening around. The user will be able to adjust all modes as they see fit. Jabra made a special emphasis on the semi-open design, which should get rid of the effect of congestion in the ears.
In terms of drivers, the Elite 85t has traditional 12mm drivers, which Jabra says are good at handling both treble and bass. An adjustable equalizer is available in the dedicated Sound + app.
The Elite 85t features redesigned EarGels that are now oval for a snug fit. With ANC turned on, the Elite 85t will last up to 5.5 hours. Using the charging case extends the battery life to 25 hours with ANC on and 31 hours with ANC completely off. The headphones are IPX4 rated. There is support for voice assistants Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.
Jabra also announced the update of the Elite 75t series headphones: now the Elite 75t and Elite Active 75t are equipped with ANC noise cancellation. The Jabra Elite 75t with this feature in the basic version will be on sale from the fourth quarter of this year.
