KEF LS50 Wireless II speakers get Tidal Connect support

With the software update, the recently released active speaker KEF LS50 WIreless II received support for Tidal Connect – now it can play tracks from Tidal directly, and the application on the user’s smartphone is used as a remote control, the content does not go through it.

Through Tidal Connect, you can send tracks to the acoustics in any format, including MQA and Dolby Atmos – the playback quality is selected in the application.

The new model in the LS50 series appeared in September, it differs from the previous version by the use of sound-absorbing metamaterial, which reduces the level of distortion, and the increased power – the mid / low-frequency link accounts for 280 W of class D, and the tweeters are allocated for 100 W of class AB. The novelty also features a 12th generation Uni-Q coaxial emitter.

In the UK, the KEF LS50 Wireless II will cost £2,250.
