Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up: Glass, Stainless Steel, Leather & AirPlay 2
Louis Vuitton has unveiled the Horizon Light Up, an acoustical design artifact – it would be somewhat frivolous to call this object a Bluetooth speaker. It consists of two cones connected by bases and suspended from an elegant leather lanyard. The brand said the Horizon Light Up design was inspired by the signature Toupie handbag.
Inside the case is a three-inch woofer and a pair of mid-tweeters with a caliber of 0.75 inches. They are complemented by three microphones for voice communication. The built-in battery will provide up to 15 hours of playtime. Charging and display are housed in a separate docking station that connects to a power source via USB-C. The system supports Bluetooth 5.1 and AirPlay 2.
The body of the novelty is made of a combination of glass, stainless steel and leather surfaces. In addition to its acoustic capabilities, the artifact is backlit by 35 LEDs and adorned with brand logos on all available surfaces.
The Louis Vuitton acoustic accessory will start on July 31st. In the US, the price of the Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up will be $2,890.
