Lyngdorf Audio TDAI-3400 Amplifier Receives Full MQA Compatibility

Lyngdorf Audio has announced new firmware for the flagship TDAI-3400 integrated amplifier. This update will add full MQA support by decoding and playing the corresponding music content.

As explained in the company, the presence of the MQA Core Decoder module will allow audiophiles to play MQA files from any local source, as well as through the Tidal service (the amplifier acquired Tidal Connect support last October).

Full MQA compatibility is part of Lyngdorf’s plan to improve and upgrade existing amplifiers and processors. In addition to MQA Core Decoder, the TDAI-3400 has already received support for Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, DLNA (UPnP), AirPlay and Internet Radio (vTuner) technologies.

You can already update the amplifier software through the application menu or from a flash drive/SD card.
