A compact model – Emberton – has appeared in the catalog of Marshall wireless speakers. This is a fairly simple speaker, without voice assistants, but still with a microphone – so you can answer calls.
The speakers of the novelty are located both on the back and on the front panel, due to which it plays at 360°: there are only two two-inch broadband speakers and two passive radiators in the column. Each speaker has its own 10W amplifier.
It is protected from water according to the IPX7 standard and is ready to work on a single battery charge for more than 20 hours. On the top panel, the developers have installed a proprietary joystick control, with which you can change the volume and control playback.
The column weighs only 700 grams, it connects to sources via Bluetooth 5.0, but there is no information on support for modern codecs. In the US, sales have already started, Marshall Emberton costs $149.
