Meters OV-1-B-Connect: active noise cancellation and arrow indicators

The products of the English brand Meters Music, founded by professional audio engineers, live up to the name: arrow indicators are usually present on the case of their models. These level meters are also integrated into the Meters OV-1-B-Connect earcups. It is quite difficult for the listener to see them even with a mirror. On the other hand, it is immediately clear from the outside whether the signal has not exceeded the harmless level permissible for hearing – a good opportunity, for example, for caring parents.

Otherwise, the Meters OV-1-B-Connect are solid (many aluminum parts) and wearable (there are large, “chubby” ear pads) headphones with 40 mm speakers. The volume can be really decent – the power per speaker reaches 0.5W. The wireless connection principle is complemented by a reliable audio cable.

The Meters OV-1-B-Connect wirelessly uses the Qualcomm aptX HD codec, supplemented by HSP, HFP, A2DP and AVRCP. The proprietary application contains a graphic equalizer and control of the LED backlighting of the VU dial indicators: in some situations, for example, in a darkened aircraft cabin, it is better to turn it off altogether.

The built-in battery will provide 16 hours of playback and indication of its level, complemented by active noise cancellation with the ability to turn on the ambient sound audibility mode. Meters OV-1-B-Connect headphones are available in three colors: white, black with white elements and white-black-brown.

In Europe, Meters OV-1-B-Connect headphones will cost 369 euros.
