Nagra and Transparent Audio released an impedance-matched output cable for the IV-S tape recorder

Nagra, together with Transparent Audio, has introduced a dedicated output cable for connecting the Nagra IV-S tape recorder to a preamp. According to the manufacturer, the main feature of the cable is the impedance matching with the source (tape recorder).

The Nagra by Transparent cable was equipped with banana connectors and standard RCA (on the preamp side). According to the company, the cable will provide improved sound performance when compared to a wire equipped with a Tuchel connector.
