New Philips Active Noise Canceling Headphones: TAT8505, TAT5505 and TAH9505

Philips TV & Sound has unveiled three ANC headphones from the popular brand due in 2020 Benoit Burette, Director of Strategic Product Planning at TP Vision, said: “The new ANC line of headphones features classic Philips products They are distinguished by the highest efficiency, thoughtful design and build quality – that is, an excellent ratio of price and functionality. Top three Philips 2020 models are TWS headphones TAT8505. The case, which takes into account the structure of the ear, was able to accommodate dynamic drivers with a diameter of 13 mm. Adequate size combined with a neodymium magnet system is designed to deliver full-blown sound. Proprietary Active Noise Cancellation combines with the ability to control external sounds. The TAT8505 uses Bluetooth 5.0 with simplified search and connection to Android devices and independent connection to the signal source: the headphones can be used alone. The earbuds are fixed in the ear using the IR function. The black housing with protection against moisture in accordance with IPX4 received touch controls. Sound settings and selectable ANC modes are available in the Philips Headphones App. In addition, it supports voice control via Google Assistant or Siri.

According to the press release, two microphones on each earpiece will ensure high-quality voice transmission in telephone conversations. The TAT8505’s own batteries will allow you to listen to music for about 6 hours (with ANC turned on – an hour less). Another 18 hours of playtime will be added by the charging case (charging via USB-C). Includes three sizes of ear buds. TAT5505 is a mid-range model with 8mm neodymium drivers, Bluetooth 5.0, touch controls, Google Assistant or Siri support. Like the older model, there is an IR function, the possibility of separate use, a pair of microphones and IPX4 protection. The headphones are autonomous for 4.5 hours at full load (listening with active noise canceling enabled). Another 15 hours of work will be added by the charging case.

The third model is Philips TAH9505 monitor headphones. Lightweight, on-ear, with a foldable, adjustable headband and rather large ear pads. They are equipped with 40mm neodymium magnet drivers. Philips especially noted the comfort of wearing. The TAH9505 has an active noise reduction system, support for a signal with parameters up to 24 bit / 96 kHz, Bluetooth 5.0, work with Google Assistant or Siri. The novelty received a built-in battery that provides 20 hours of operation and is rechargeable via USB-C. The listed Philips headphones, in black, will be on sale within the next four months: TAT8505 – right now, TAT5505 – in October, and TAH9505 – in December. The cost of new products will also be announced in the near future.
