Nina Simone performances at the Montreux Jazz Festival will be released on a double album
A collection of performances by the great blues and jazz singer Nina Simone at the Montreux Jazz Festival will be released on the BMG label. The double vinyl album is made up of excerpts from her festival programs performed in 1976, 1981, 1986 and 1990.
In the album “Nina Simone: The Montreux Years” will include live versions of such famous songs as “Four Women”, “See-Line Woman”, “Little Girl Blue”, “My Baby Just Cares for Me” and “Don’t Smoke in Bed”. The album will be released on May 28 on two 180 gram vinyl records.
